Five years after World War II, the victorious Allies were engaged in another major conflict, this time against each other. North Korea invaded South Korea with Chinese backing, leading the United Nations, led by the USA, to come in on the Southern side. Tensions escalated as UN troops approached the Chinese border drawing both divisions of Chinese "volunteers" and the support of the USSR. UN air superiority was challenged by new Community MiG-15 fighter jets that could only be equalled by the latest US jet fighter - the F86 Sabre.
